I recently showed a sneak peek of the gift I was making for Linda and Stephanie's Christmas in July swap. Well I'm pleased to say that it's all finished and the parcel has safely found its way to its new home on the other side of the world in Australia. My partner was Kriston
We had to make a christmas stocking or santa sack and I decided to make a santa sack/bag.
I used a stitchery pattern by Gail Pan and included it in the bag design, I didn't use a pattern for the bag. I've seen the stitchery used in a couple of the other gifts sent by other participents in the swap.

I also made an oragami christmas tree. And sent a few other little gifts which I failed to take photots of.
I'm pleased to say that I've heard from Kriston and she says that she loves the gifts. I've not recieved my parcel yet but more about that another time.
I have some finishing touches to do on my Seaside swap gift and then it's onto the next round of the Doll quilt swap on flickr.
Bye for now, Maria

What a cute and fun bag. Love the colors. How clever...an origami tree. I imagine Kristin loves her gifts! I'll have to visit Kristin's blog to see the other goodies.
I love the fabric you used in your bag - I made that stitchery into a little wall hanging for last Christmas. Your origami tree is terrific, I've never seen anything like that before - is it an original design or did you have a pattern?
I love your bag! And what a nice touch to add that embrodery. It's put me in the Christmas spirit!
Hi there!

Can I just say Maria that all your gifts are much more beautiful in real life than in photos! I am thrilled by them!!! Thank you!

Wow!! How gorgeous are they!!
Love the bag Maria, such fun fabric and such a versatile stitchery pattern. I wondered why I hadn't seen a post from you in ages and Stephanie told me you'd switched back to blogger.
love the happy colors and sweet stitchery you used on the bag.
What a lovely bag; wouldn't mind arriving a Christmas with this!
