I've recently joined a wonderful Quilting Bee on flickr arranged by Lynne of Lily's Quilts. Each of the 12 members are assigned a month, during our month we send fabric to the other members who each make a block and send it back to the sender who then makes a quilt from the blocks. In the end we will have 12 quilts to donate to the wonderful Siblings Together charity. Lynne explains more about the charity here
The fabric for the quilt tops is all being donated by Moda. Isn't that just fabulous?
Not only are Moda donating fabric but the following retailers are so kindly donating fabric for the backings. Huge thanks go to Lynne for all her hard work in putting the bee together and securing the fabric donations and to all the companies who are donating.

Great to see you're taking part in this. I did think about putting my name down, but was too scared! I'll be interested to see what you make!
Well done Maria!
Excited to see what you all make with such gorgeous fabric contributions!
Great post, Maria! I can't wait for you (us?!) to get started!
Well done for taking the plunge! I will follow with interest, having never felt brave enough as yet to join a sewing bee... Have you done one before?
